The Sound by Pressure

Conscious reggae artist Pressure has teamed up I Grade Records and Grammy-nominated roots producers Zion I Kings for his 4th studio album, The Sound.In fact, the whole of the USVI is literally behind The Sound. One of its 14 tracks, 'Virgin Islands Nice,' is now an official tourist board anthem. Additionally, a host of Pressure's fellow countrymen can be heard among the other tunes. Ras Batch and NiyoRah team up on 'Cry For Humanity,' Volcano appears on 'Herbsman Town' and 'Nothing No Wrong' features none other than the Midnite band's lead singer, Vaughn Benjamin. The Sound exemplifies the strong roots culture active in both St. Croix and St. Thomas. Lutan Fyah also represents for Jamaica on 'Stop This Train.'A majority of the album was recorded in St. Croix at Aqua Sounds Studio. Meanwhile, tracks such as 'Who You Are' and 'Nothing No Wrong' were recorded at the world famous Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica
